OneRail Partners with Andy Jankowiak

OneRail is a proud sponsor and supporter of race car driver, Andy Jankowiak. This past month on February 13th, OneRail had the pleasure of partnering with Andy Jankowiak for the Lucas Oil 200. The Lucas Oil 200 is the first of twenty races in the ARCA Menards Series – a series of races used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR. For Andy, this race was more than just the kick start of the series, this was a dream come true.

The Lucas Oil 200 was Andy’s first time racing in the ARCA Mendard’s series. His passion and pure talent for racing shined as he finished in the top ten. Andy’s raw talent for racing shined during this race. His ability to think fast and make the right moves rightfully earned the 8th place position.

From pizza delivery to race car driver, Andy is truly breaking the typical mold of an up-and-coming NASCAR development driver. Andy has worked at the same local pizza shop, on and off for 13 years. His hours adjust depending on the season, often working 20 hours a week in the summer and 50 hours in winter. With winter as the busiest time for pizza delivery, it aligns perfectly with the race season.

The 32-year-old from Tonawanda, New York has put everything he has into his dream of racing. His original plan to buy a house quickly changed when he experienced an “if not now, when” realization. When Covid-19 hit and racing was put to a halt, he spent most of his summer working and saving up. After a summer of hard work he realized, “If I am ever going to try to do it, this is the time.” With his flexible work schedule and his hard-earned savings, he decided to move forward. He purchased a complete ARCA car from the NASCAR legend Ken Schrader and began preparation. Andy is hands-on when it comes to making improvements and devotes his spare time to perfecting his vehicle. With help from Andy’s support system and their ARCA expertise, he was able to significantly improve his car in time for the Lucas Oil 200.

As Andy’s dreams become a reality, he never loses sight of the fact that his “dream” is a shared one. He carries and continues the family dream of racing for both his late father Tony Jankowiak and Uncle Tommy Jankowiak; both of who tragically passed in racing-related accidents. Every day, Andy finds his motivation for racing to pursue the collective family dream. On the racetrack, Andy honors his father, with the number 73 – Tony Jankowiak’s former number.

OneRail is proud to support Andy on his racing journey as his drive and determination align with the OneRail mission and values. CEO and Founder of OneRail, Bill Catania, has watched Andy race since he was in his teens, always admiring his hard work and efforts to climb the racing ladder. Once Catania heard of Andy’s plan to race at the next level in Daytona, there was no question about supporting him.
