Merchants Fleet and the final mile delivery orchestration and fulfillment platform, OneRail, are launching a national fleet rental and leasing program for its logistics partners, which will enable business growth for the logistics partners through reduced vehicle costs.
Under the partnership, Merchants will provide funding options as well as services to support the day-to-day operations of the vehicles. OneRail provides real-time visibility, actionable data, and data-driven optimization capabilities for its enterprise clients, according to the company.
Merchants Fleet Expands Last-Mile Fleet Program
Merchants Fleet and OneRail have teamed up to launch a national fleet rental and leasing program for logistics partners. The program will allow logistics partners to reduce vehicle costs and grow their business. Merchants Fleet will provide funding options and day-to-day operational support for the vehicles, while OneRail will offer real-time visibility and data-driven optimization capabilities for its clients. Merchants Fleet will offer several funding options, including rentals, rent-to-lease, traditional lease terms, vehicle purchasing, and own-to-lease. The program includes managed programs for fuel, maintenance, telematics, and remarketing vehicles at the end of term/use. The program was launched in June 2020 to OneRail logistics partners.
