Over the past month, OneRail has participated in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Event. Making Strides Orlando was originally scheduled for the weekend of October 17-18th. However, with the transition to virtual events, our team walked safely at home with their family and friends while raising money throughout the month for the cause. Making Strides is more than just a walk. It is a movement for the future. Communities across the nation continue to come together to walk in unison, supporting the fight against breast cancer!
The OneRail team walked all around the country, from Central Florida to North Carolina, showing their support for this powerful movement. Along with our strides, we are proud to announce that our team raised a total of $6,984 and was the top corporate fundraiser in Orlando. We are proud of our team for surpassing our goal. Every cent helps to make the future cancer free!
Over the years, generous contributions towards the American Cancer Society has created continual research and help for patient treatment. $69 million has been invested towards research grants, 24,000 patients have received personal assistance in understanding their diagnosis, and 6,000+ have received support services. OneRail is proud to support the movement and continue the fight against breast cancer.
